NCP for tie-up with regional parties keeping out Cong, BJP

PANJIM: Two days after the Congress observer Dinesh Rao said that the party will go all out on its own in the next election 2022, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Congress’ alliance partner in Maharashtra, said it was looking to tie-up with like-minded parties, keeping out Congress and the BJP.

NCP Goa Desk incharge Praful Patel, who was in Goa, said that the Nationalist Congress Party will look to put together a Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) like formation in Goa with the help of regional parties.

“I am sure, the NCP along with like-minded parties, without Congress or BJP, will be in a position to build trust of the people of Goa,” said Patel while speaking to the media persons in Panjim.

Replying to queries, he said that he wants to make his party stronger “we will try to win on our own but we can think over tying up with the regional parties, who can defeat the BJP. We can work with such like-minded people,” he said.

He squarely blamed Congress for their current situation in Goa today.

“Who is responsible for their condition in Goa today, they themselves. Why they have come down from 17 to 5. They could have easily formed the government in 2017,” he said.
