MAPUSA: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Wednesday served a 24-hour deadline on the Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC) to repair the overflowing nullah at Khorlim failing which the party threatened to carry out the same.
Party general secretary Sanjay Barde said he has handed over an application to the MMC Chief Officer to grant him permission to take up the repair work to solve the overflowing nullah in Ward 18.

“I am giving the municipality 24 hours to take up the repair work of the nullah. If the municipality fails to solve the issue by Friday morning, I will get an earthmover and commence the repair work”, Barde said.
