PANJIM: The elections for the vacant posts of the Goa Panchayat Mahila Shakti Abhiyan (GPMSA) were held on May 26, at the Conference Hall, Secretariat, Porvorim.
Uday Prabhudessai, BDO Tiswadi was the presiding officer, with Neha Bandekar, head clerk DoP as the nodal officer.
Those elected are Nelly Rodrigues (President), Ankita Navelkar (Adhyaksha NGZP), Diksha Kanolkar (Secretary), Perpetual Fernandes (Treasurer). Those elected to the north Goa district level committee are Sanisha Toraskar (Secretary), Saraswati Vadkar (Jt Treasurer).
The EWR’s elected to the South Goa are Suvarna Tendulkar (resident), Chitra Phadte (Vice President), Babita Naik (Jt Secretary), Mancy Rodrigues (Treasurer), Fatima Gaonkar (Jt Treasurer).
