Takes a jibe at Fr Eremito

MARGAO: Benaulim MLA Caitu Silva has asserted that he fully supports Dabolim as Goa’s lone airport and denied that he had at any time supported the proposed airport at Mopa.
Reacting to the statement made by the Convenor of Goans for Dabolim Only Fr Eremito Rebello that the Benaulim MLA is favouring both Dabolim and Mopa, Caitu sought to know from Fr Eremito when he
had told him that he is supporting the two airports. “I want to assert that Fr Eremito Rebello had launched the ongoing movement to support Churchill Alemao”, he alleged, while asserting that the Goa Vikas Party and
the party supremo Mickky Pacheco will take a united stand on the airport issue.
