New Collectorate building opening on February 28

Finally, the District Collectorate, South, will start functioning from the new building from March 1.

MARGAO: Finally, the District Collectorate, South, will start functioning from the new building from March 1.

The new Collectorate building, built at a cost of around Rs 116 crore, will be inaugurated at the hands of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on February 28 to coincide with the birthday of Fisheries Minister, Avertano Furtado.

Shifting of files from the old building to the new Collectorate will commence from Monday and the process is likely to be complete within three days ~ ahead of the inauguration on February 28.
