MARGAO: The new Jesus Mary Joseph Church in Nuvem was inaugurated in a grand ceremony presided over by Cardinal Most Rev Filipe Neri Ferrao on Saturday.
The inaugural event saw the presence of various dignitaries, including Fr Nelson Sequeira, Fr Alfonso Mendonca, Seminarian Hilario de Lima, Aloysius Cabral, and Fr Victor Rodrigues, the parish priest of the Nuvem Church. The inaugural Mass was conducted by seven priests, with an additional 100 priests in attendance. Dr Francisco Pereira, PPC moderator, was also present.
The Mass was attended by a large congregation, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm and devotion to the newly established place of worship.
