VASCO: The Vasco Police on Wednesday arrested a 21-year-old youth from New Vaddem Vasco for being in illegal possession of 41 grams of suspected ganja worth Rs 8200.
According to the police, on a tipoff, a team of Vasco police conducted a raid behind Seawinds building, Alto Vaddem and apprehended Sandeep Chodankar with suspected ganja. Police arrested the accused under the provisions of NDPS Act and further investigation is in progress. This is the eighth case booked under NDPS Act by Vasco police in the last three months.
