PANJIM: Pilerne Comunidade’s move to develop 36,000 sq mtrs of land under survey number 2011/1 to allot plots has come under criticism from the Pilerne Citizens Forum (PCF) that has alleged a nexus between the government and the comunidade.
The group has charged Deputy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza and Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar of conspiring with the Pilerne panchayat and comunidade to go ahead with the project despite the lapse of sanad.
“The village panchayat has issued NOC to commence the work based on the sanad issued in 2008. As per the recent rules, fresh sanad has to be obtained once it lapses but it seems all laws are bent for the government,” PCF President Prakash Bandodkar said on Friday.
Alleging a nexus between politicians and the authorities concerned, PCF has decided to approach the Collector, Chief Town Planner, Revenue and Panchayat departments seeking immediate action.
The comunidade is developing plots on 36,000 sq mtrs of the total 96,000 sq mtrs of land. The remaining portion has been left out of development being ‘orchard land’.
PCF also pointed out to the draft Regional Plan that does not show access roads towards the property in contradiction to the final RP 2021. “However the RP 21 plan has been kept on hold,” he said.
warning to move the court if the work does not stop.
