MARGAO: The United Goans Foundation (UGF) has decided to file a vigilance case against all those involved in drafting the maps of the Margao ODP. The UGF said in 2016 they had challenged the draft ODP which was subsequently withdrawn and therefore the case had to be closed. “This time we will ensure that even if the ODP is withdrawn the case will go on as long as they do not implement the provisions of the TCP Act and rules both in word and spirit,” said UGF. “We hope we get justice In this petition so that future PDA boards prepare of proper master plan for the city which is focused on addressing the issues of the city and bringing solutions to the issues in a planned manner taking into confidence all the residence and stakeholders of the city,” said the NGO.
