PANJIM: The North Goa Planning and Development Authority (NGPDA) on Monday stated in exercise of the relevant powers, they have carried out various corrections and changes in the Outline Development Plan (ODP) for Calangute-Candolim Planning Area 2025.
The NGPDA explained they had invited objections/suggestions from the public earlier, based on which they had made these corrections and changes.
The authority further stated that it had come to their notice that certain cartographical errors were there in the Draft ODP such as erroneous classification related to survey numbers of certain areas of Bardez Taluka. These changes are mentioned in the published notification.
“And whereas, the ODP for Calangute-Candolim Planning Area 2025 has been scrutinised and it is necessary to correct the said cartographical errors in the public interest; and whereas, the approval of the government for correcting the said cartographical errors has been obtained,” read the notification issued by the NGPDA.
