PANJIM: The North Goa Planning and Development Authority (NGPDA) has sought objections, if any within next two months from the citizens on the Land Use Map and Land Use Register of Panjim Planning Area (part) comprising of Part area of village Penh-de-Franca (Part).
The government by a notification dated December 29, 2022, added/included part area of Penha-de-Franca village in the ‘Panjim Planning Area’. Following inclusion of Part area of Penha-de-Franca village of Bardez taluka in ‘Panjim Planning Area’, the NGPDA prepared Land Use Map and Land Use Register showing present use of ‘Panjim Planning Area’ (part) of Penha-de-Franca village. Accordingly, the Authority prepared draft Outline Development Plan (ODP) 2031 for Panjim (Part) and for Part village of Penha-de-Franca.
The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Board in its meeting held on January 18, 2024, approved the Draft ODP 2031. The government has also given its provisional approval to the draft ODP 2031.
Meanwhile, copies of the draft ODP 2031 have been made available for inspection in NGPDA office, Penha-de-Franca Village Panchayat office and other relevant offices for public reference. The NGPDA will hear the general public who submit such objections and also who request for personal hearing as per Section 35 (5) of the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Act in the office of the NGPDA with prior notice to all persons concerned after the expiry of two months from the date of publication of the Notification.
The objections are to be submitted in writing to the Member Secretary, NGPDA, 1st Floor, Shanta Building, next to Vivanta Hotel, St Inez, Panjim.
