PANJIM: The National Green Tribunal (NGT), Principal Bench, Delhi on Monday disposed of the application field by the AVCB Traditional Fishermen Association and others seeking to notify the draft plan prepared by village panchayats as draft Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) for public hearings fixed on July 8.
NGT disposed of the application since the same Bench had passed an order passed on May 31, while hearing an application filed by the Goa Foundation and others.
NGT had directed the Goa government and the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) to conduct fresh public hearings to finalise the CZMP latest by August 31 this year.
