Nigerian held with drugs at Candolim

PANJIM: In another crackdown on the Nigerians, the Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths arrested a 29-year-old for possessing drugs worth to Rs 1.6 lakh. 
In the last over a fortnight this is the fourth case by Goa Police against nearly half-a-dozen Nigerians in the coastal belt.  
Information shared by ANC team reveals that Monday Felix Odede was caught with 8.542 grammes of MDMA and 6.935 grammes of cocaine from his rented premise at Candolim. 
“The seized contraband was found concealed in his rented room and meant for illegal sale to the tourists as the season has just started. On interrogation, Felix confessed he has been living in Calangute and involved in the illegal narcotics trade by supplying drugs to the tourists,” an officer said. 
The Nigerian is facing trial in another case of drug trafficking against him in 2014 when he was caught with LSD papers and subsequently jailed.
