MAPUSA: Anjuna Police on Saturday arrested a Nigerian one Ikechukwu C Ezlashi (35), for allegedly possessing narcotic substance suspected to be cocaine.
According to PI Gawas, the narcotic raid was conducted at Bhati Oxel in Siolim by a team comprising PSI Akshay Parsekar, Head Constable Shyamsundar Parsekar, Constables Rajesh Gokhankar, Ajinkya Ghogale, Satyendra Nasnodkar, Rudresh Virdikar and Ritesh Mandrekar.
During the raid, the accused was found in possession of cocaine worth Rs 3,51,600. Anjuna Police registered an offence under 21(b) of the NDPS Act. PSI Parsekar is investigating the case.
