Nigerian held with drugs

CALANGUTE, MAY 12
A Nigerian national was arrested on charges of possessing illegal drugs at Calangute in the wee hours of Wednesday.
According to Calangute police, Nigozo Emmanuel Eze was arrested on charges of possessing Cocaine worth Rs 35,000, besides USD 1700 and Rs 11,140.
Following a tip-off, Eze was arrested by Calangute police team led by PI Nolasco Raposo, PSI Sherif Jacques, Subhash Malwankar, Shadab Shaikh, Luens Pereira, Datta Shirodkar and Santosh Govekar near St Anthony’s Chapel, Gaura Vaddo, Calangute.
He has been arrested under NDPS 21 (B) and remanded to seven days police custody. Calangute police is investigating the case.
