Calangute Police on Wednesday arrested a Nigerian national on charges of possessing illegal drugs worth Rs 70 thousand at Porbowado Calangute. Akomolafe Olayinka Olusola was arrested on charges of possessing 04 grams of narcotic substance Cocaine and 2 grams of psychotropic substance Ecstasy
The 23-year-old Nigerian National was arrested in Crime No. 23/2023 u/s 21(b), 22(b) of NDPS Act 1985 and remanded to four days of Police Custody. The police were informed by sources that one person would come to deliver the narcotic substance to prospective customers near Palmarinha Resort at Porbowado Calangute on a scooter
