Nilesh Naik makes it into Guinness Book

Guinness Book of World Records has recognised the record-breaking effort of largest Rangoli Pattern by renowned Goan Rangoli Artist Nilesh Naik. Nilesh with his persistent efforts for 18 long days had successfully completed 4900 sq mts Rangoli portrait of legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji at Murda ground, Merces.
A letter from the Office of Guinness Book of World Records was recently received by Nilesh Naik and his record breaking effort will be included in the next edition of the book.
People of Goa had overwhelmingly supported Nilesh Naik during his attempt and many renowned personalities including Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, Leader of opposition Manohar Parrikar, Pop Singer Hema Sardessai and many more had visited the site and encouraged Nilesh.
Expressing all his gratitude towards people of Goa for their inspirational support, Nilesh Naik said that it is his dream comes true.
