No call, nor any information shared on Siddhi Naik’s murder case: Father

PANJIM: The sensational Siddhi Naik case, where body of the youngster was found at the Calangute beach was first registered as a case of unnatural death by Calangute police. Nearly four-and-a-half months later, the Calangute police registered the mysterious death of the 19-year-old Siddhi Naik as an alleged murder case. Now father of deceased, Siddesh Naik has alleged, even after Calangute police registered the death as alleged murder case, nothing was done by the police. He demanded a proper and prompt investigation.

Speaking on Tuesday, Naik said, “Within few months my daughter’s murder will complete a year and my daughter has not received justice.” He added that since the murder case was registered by Calangute police, he didn’t receive any call from them neither any information was shared with him otherwise regarding the investigation. He questioned why then PI Nolasco Raposo delayed the mater and didn’t take the investigation seriously. He demanded action and inquiry into it too.

He alleged that he has submitted all the necessary documents and inputs that could help in the investigation but nothing has been done. 

Naik has now demanded proper investigation and quick justice for his daughter, he also suspected political pressure and that someone is trying to save someone.
