PANJIM: Rejecting any chance of a leadership change in the State, TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai on Monday said there is total unanimity over Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s leadership.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the ailing CM at his private residence, a day after he was taken to GMC for some tests, Sardesai said, “Chief Minister is in good health and good shape. Chief Minister has exemplary will power. It is his speciality and very few people have it. He is one of them.”
Sardesai ruled out the possibility of a leadership change stating that all the coalition partners are unanimous that Parrikar should continue as the Chief Minister. “There is no question of leadership change as of now. The alliance partners are unanimous on Parrikar as their leader,” Sardesai said.
He said that Parrikar is in good shape and discussed many things with him including politics. “Yes, he discussed politics, development works and everything,” he stated.
