No-confidence motion against Bandora sarpanch fizzles out

PONDA: The motion of no-confidence against Bandora sarpanch, Rajesh Naik brought by six out of eleven panch members, came for discussion in a special meeting, however it fizzles out.

Reportedly, on October 13 six panch members had given motion of no-confidence against Naik at Ponda Block Development Office (BDO). During the special meeting only five out of six, who had signed the motion were present following which the BDO Official declared that the no-confidence motion has fizzled out.

Naik, who is presently out of Goa upon learning that the motion has fizzled out, said he has made efforts to develop the area. The failure of motion proves he has support of people for the development work he has done.
