PANJIM: Almost after five months there were no COVID-19 deaths in the State bringing in a huge sigh of relief to the Goans. The death toll due to COVID has reached 656. The first COVID death was reported on June 22.
Thursday saw 107 new positive cases and 192 people were cured or discharged.
The State’s recovery rate has now reached 94.77 per cent as 42,221 cases out of 45,605 confirmed cases have recovered. The active cases as on date are 1,728.
