PANJIM: Agassaim police grappling for concrete leads into the murder of real estate developer Hasan, are still clueless about the reason/s why he was killed, on the second day of investigations.

Sources said that some people were questioned regarding the fatal attack however nothing have worked out so far.

The crime spot was revisited to look for clues like footprints, tyre tracks other than that of the victim’s own Honda City car in which the body was found near the Bambolim Cross or any other sign leading to the culprits.

The body was found with stab wounds and the deceased’s belongings were stolen.

Though initial pointers are towards robbery as a motive, police sources say that business rivalry or even a contract killing cannot be ruled out, given that the deceased was involved in property dealings and even had a construction project in North Goa.

According to initial investigations, two persons had approached Hasan at his garage at Taleigao on the pretext of wanting to buy the Honda city in which he was found murdered. After they checked the car documents including the RC book, they desired to go for a test drive at around 8:30 pm Thursday.
