VALPOI: Four panchas of Bhirondem Village Panchayat of Sattari Taluka passed No Confidence Motion against the sarpanch, on Saturday.
Out of the seven panchas, four submitted the No Confidence Motion letter to the Valpoi Block Development Officer stating that the sarpanch is not capable to handle the panchayat works.
They alleged that the sarpanch is misusing power and has totally failed in doing development works and also failed in getting the development projects in the panchayat jurisdiction.
