MAPUSA: Former Union minister P Chidambaram said he is in Goa to win the forthcoming assembly election and not for holidays.
“We have come to ensure that party is battle ready to contest the forthcoming assembly election in all the forty constituencies and form the next government. People regret what has happened four years back when the Congress was unable to form the government while ten Congress members crossed over to the ruling side. Going forward now, we ensure that nobody will defect from Congress anymore”, Chidambaram said.
