MAPUSA: North Goa SP Akshat Kaushal, IPS on Friday directed the Mapusa Police to initiate action against a group of tourists who were seen disrupting traffic on a road at Parra in Bardez taluka.
The direction was issued when a video went viral on social media. In the video, a Maharashtra-registered Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV) was seen parked on the road blocking traffic and a tourist performing stunts on it.
Meanwhile, the Mapusa PI Nikhil Palekar told O Heraldo that by the time police personnel reached the spot, the tourists had fled from the spot.
Efforts are being made to trace the SUV and its occupants, PI Palekar said.
