CALANGUTE: The North Goa Tourist Taxi Owners Association (NGTTOA) on Friday requested Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to reconsider about the GoaMiles App at a meeting they gathered for in large number at Calangute to decide on the future course of action. The taxi drivers and owners have decided to resume their duties after Chief Minister has assured them that GoaMiles taxis will not be operating at the hotels.
The NGTTOA President Vasudev Arlekar and other members present highlighted how the GoaMiles App has affected their livelihood. The drivers have agreed to resume with their taxi services from Friday based on the assurances given by CM that the app based taxi drivers will not go to the hotels.
