PANJIM: Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho has denied holding back files on the reservations and elections to Zilla Panchayat.
“I have handed over (the file) to the State Election Commission (SEC). It is for them to decide… I have cleared it long back, so it is for the SEC to decide. No file is pending with me whether it is of reservation or dates of the election,” he said responding to a media question on the issue.
He also denied further change in the dates of Zilla Panchayats election. The polling date was recently postponed from March 15 to March 22 due to Holi and Shigmo.
