Mahesh Dattaram Nayak, President of Jai Damodar, Margao and John Nazareth, former president of Goa Government Employees Association have stated that releasing polluted water into the river Sal is a scam. He called on govt to put an immediate stop to the pollution since it was causing widespread sickness in the surrounding areas. In fact, all rivers are getting polluted, activists Xencor Polgi and John Nazareth alleged.
