PANJIM: PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral on Wednesday said that it is not possible for the State to become pothole free before the onset of monsoon.

Cabral said that pre-monsoon preparations are currently on and the PWD authorities have started filling potholes across the State.
“I am not saying that we can become pothole free before monsoon. But we are trying to repair and reduce them. Preparedness is there and we are trying hard to repair some of the bad patches on roads”, he said.
Stating that the preparations are on by the PWD, the minister also pointed to the unseasonable rainfall.
