With 19 more castes included in OBC quota, including dhangars, dhobis, kharvis and bhandaris and an additional 7.5 reservations were added after a report prepared by the CDPR Pune was submitted to the State Other Backward Classes (OBC) Commission.
The report was sent to the social welfare department who in turn prepared a note for the minister.
It is expected to come before the cabinet today (Wednesday) after reports say that administrative and legal sanction has been received.
