The High Court of Bombay at Goa has directed the Government of Goa
to notify Mhadei Tiger reserve in the next three months.
The HC has directed the Government to draw up a Tiger Conservation
Plan and send it to National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA)
The HC has asked NTCA to give all possible cooperation to the
State Government in creating tiger reserve. Further, the HC has ordered setting up anti poaching camps in
tiger reserves in six months and also asked to settle all pending forest rights
settlements.
