In a disturbing incident, infamous criminal Tarzan Parsekar and his accomplice Sagar Patil are facing charges of assaulting a man and his minor son. The Anjuna police reported that the assault, which occurred on Thursday, is believed to be in retaliation for the complainant approaching a local MLA regarding Tarzan’s involvement in the 2022 assault on Ravi Shirodkar. Both accused are currently on the run.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Anjuna) Jivba Dalvi provided details, stating, “When the complainant reached a Football Training at Nagoa to pick up his son, Tarzan Parsekar and Sagar Patil assaulted both victims and also threatened the complainant with dire consequences. The assault was an act of revenge because the complainant had approached the MLA complaining against Tarzan in the assault on Ravi Shirodkar then.”
A case has been registered against both accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Goa Children’s Act. Authorities are actively pursuing the absconding suspects, emphasizing the serious consequences of such acts of violence and retaliation within the community.
