Now, district courts go online

After the Bombay High Court at Goa, now even District Court verdicts would be available online with the launch of dedicated website for the both.
The North and South Goa Court websites – www.northgoacourts.nic.in and www.southgoacourts.nic.in – for the districts and sub-ordinate judiciary was inaugurated at the hands of High Court of Bombay at Goa Justice S B Deshmukh.
The websites will provide wide range of information regarding judgments, daily orders, causelist and case status of both district courts, three fast track courts and eleven taluka courts.
The website, designed by the National Informatics Centre will also publish legal service, sentencing statements, Judges’ details, history of each Court, jurisdiction of every taluka, pendency of under trial prisoners and contact information.
