PANJIM: Commending the good work being done by the Non-Resident Indians cell, the Goa government is looking at upgrading it into a full-fledged department in the near future, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said Friday after launching its re-designed website. Parrikar said, “The NRI cell plays an important role by keeping Goans abroad in touch with Goa.” The cell should endeavour to help Goans abroad to safeguard their properties.”
