MARGAO: Maina Curtorim Police on Friday registered a rape case against 40-year-old Agnelo Pereira from Kirbhat Nuvem following a complaint lodged by a minor girl that he has been abusing and having forcible sex with her for the last two years.
As per the complaint in February 2016 the said Agnelo came to the girl’s house at around 1.30 pm and raped her and left the house at around 2.30 pm. After that on various occasions he reportedly used to go to her house and force himself on her.
The girl has complained that the accused used to also assault her many times. As per the complaints very often he would come into the house and disrobe her and abuse her in filthy language before doing the act.
Police have arrested Agnelo who is presently in police custody and have booked him under Sections 323, 376, 354(i), (ii), (iv), 354(B), (C), 509, 506 (ii) and 504 of the Indian Penal Code for causing hurt, rape, outraging modesty of a woman, using sexually coloured words, intimidation and insult.
