Panjim: October, revered as the month dedicated to the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, serves as a time for reflection on the mysteries of Christ and the life of Our Lady. In commemoration of this sacred month, the Legion Maria Group of Our Lady of Snows Church in Raia initiated a special event on October 1st, 2023.
During the ceremony, the group offered blessings to a vehicle and the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which is set to embark on a spiritual journey across the state of Goa. Father Januario DCosta, the parish priest of Raia, presided over the blessing of the Our Lady of Fatima statue on a serene Sunday morning, marking the commencement of this meaningful pilgrimage to spread faith and devotion throughout Goa.
