Odisha wedding planners booked for bursting fire crackers, flying drones at Fatrade beach

COLVA: Even as Goa is a tourist destination, violations of law by the visitors have also been quite irksome for the locals. However, Colva police cracked down on an ‘out of State’ event management company for violating laws of the land and endangering human life during a wedding reception.

Three Bihari natives Gafur Kasim Khan, Aditya Datany, Gulshan Sharma and others were booked for bursting fire crackers, igniting open electric wires besides flying drones in areas visited by tourists thereby endangering human life.

Police informed that most often these ‘out of State’ event management companies seek permissions and licenses through agents.

On Easter eve, Parbliss Event organisers along with others were booked for an event organised at Fatrade beach in Varca, behind Caravela Beach Resort. All these violations were done as a part of wedding reception that was held at a hotel at the beach.

In recent times, Goa is also emerging as a destination for weddings with the high and mighty people mostly from North India descending upon the calm Goan beaches for their raucous celebrations.

Police issued notices to the trio to appear at the Colva Police Station by Thursday, April 4, disclosed PI Satish Padwalkar.
