PANJIM: Thirteen top ranking officers were transferred by government to streamline its administration. S V Naik has been posted as director Trade and Commerce while Amarsingh Rane takes over as director of Vigilance.
Irene Sequeira has been promoted and takes over Inspector General of Prisons.
Meena Goltekar has been promoted as director of Social Welfare while V Pranjape takes over as joint secretary General administration in place of G P Pilarnkar. Pilarnkar takes over from Swapnil Naik as director administration GMC but retains he post as director of information.
Damodar B Shanke has been moved out from prisons and goes to take over as secretary State Police Complaints Authority while Laura Brito is promoted to take over as secretary Goa State Election Commission.
Sandhya Kamat is transferred from Additional collector 1, South to take over as SLO of GSIDC, GIDC, Mopa and Garbage treatment while Venacio Furtado goes to Margao in her place.
