PANJIM: The North Goa Collectorate has granted permission for the work of the stretch of road from Vithal Mandir, Ribandar to Office of Crime Branch, Ribandar (Old GMC, Ribandar) to be taken up under Smart City project from October 7 to 30, 2023.
According to the order from the Collectorate, the permission has been granted to the Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd (IPSCDL) for excavation of road for development of smart Ribandar.
In view of the work, all heavy vehicles, buses and four-wheelers proceeding from Old Goa towards Ribandar will be diverted from Hotel Ratnasagar Junction, Old Goa, towards Kadamba Bypass Road to proceed further.
Similarly all heavy vehicles, buses and four-wheelers proceeding from Divja Circle towards Old Goa via Ribandar Causeway will be diverted at Divja Circle/bypass after Hoble’s Riverview Restaurant to proceed via Kadamba Bypass road, the order further added.
