Save Tiracol, Save Goa announces troupe for musical protest, dedicated to Dominic de Tiracol who died fighting Leading Hotels
Save Tiracol, Save Goa, the musical revolution announced its troupe for the musical protest scheduled on Sunday at 3.00 pm at Tiracol.
The troupe includes Fr Bismarque Dias (vocal and guitar), Sidhanath Buyao (vocal and guitar), Seby Fernandes (vocal and guitar), Zico X Rodrigues (vocal and guitar), Kennedy Afonso (vocal and guitar), Eliath Fernandes (violin), Selwyn Menezes (violin and mandolin), Carlos F Gonsalves (drums) and Sudeep Dalvi (vocal and anchoring).
Convener of ‘Save Tiracol Save Goa’ Sudeep Dalvi said they will sing, play instruments, and make a weapon of their voice to “fight the injustice being meted out to mother Goa and mother Earth”.
The protest will be their musical tribute to Dominic de Tiracol, who fought the land sharks till his death. “We appeal to all to come to the streets of Tiracol in large numbers and support our completely non-violent, Gandhian protest against the crimes of the land sharks and the government,” said Dalvi.
