MARGAO: Margao police claims to have achieved a breakthrough in the recent incident of mischief where some youth were involved in puncturing tyres of four- and two-wheelers in the Aquem area of the city.
The police on Friday arrested Carmo Seby Fernandes (31), a resident of Malbhat, Margao, for the incident on the intervening night of February 23 and 24.
It may be recalled that Margao police on February 24 had received complaints from owners of four-wheelers that more than 45 cars were damaged and left punctured by miscreants.
Vehicles parked inside the Pratibha Complex and adjoining Kamat Complex and those parked along the roadside from Pandava Church junction to Power House were targeted by the miscreants.
