PERNEM: Pernem police arrested Bhupindar Kumar (24), a native of Himachal Pradesh, for illegally possessing drugs.
According to Pernem police, a team headed by PSI Sanjit Kanolkar conducted raid on Thursday midnight at Arambol Parking lot and caught the accused red handed with narcotic drug suspected to be Charas weighing 280 grams worth Rs 1,40,000 approximately.
Accused was residing at Shanti guest house Khalchawada in Arambol.
Pernem police have booked a case under Section 20 (b) (ii) (b) of NDPS Act.
