PANJIM: The Panjim police have registered a case against one Odette Velho, who is charged with allegedly selling two properties illegally at a cost of more than Rs one crore.
According to a complaint filed by Celina de Vieira Velho e Almeida, a resident of Altinho, Odette fraudulently executed general power of attorney of her brother before the notary and sold two properties for which she (Odette) was paid Rs one crore fifty thousand rupees.
Odette has been booked for forgery, using forged document as genuine and cheating.
