VASCO: Verna Police booked one person for stealing cell phone at Verna.
Sources from Verna Police said as per the complaint on April 8, at about 7.45 pm, an unknown accused rider of an unknown scooter opposite Hotel Antique Mardol-Verna snatched his mobile phone from the hand and fled away from the spot, thereby causing loss of Rs 11,500 to the complainant.
Offence under Section 356, 379 has been registered against the person. Investigating Officer is PSI Sanket Talkar.
