MARGAO: Barely two days after the Chandor Cavorim Panchayat had erected sign boards indicating ‘No Entry’ for heavy vehicles in the village, a Jharkand native residing in Guirdolim was crushed to death by a truck on Sunday night.
The truck crushed Ritish Jarki who was returning to his rented premises after work on his cycle at around 7.55 pm. The driver of the truck fled from the scene with his vehicle and police are on the lookout for the culprit.
