VASCO: One youth drowned while another is still reported missing at Utorda Beach, on Sunday evening. The police recovered the body of Mustakin Shaikh, 19, a resident of Chandrawado, Fatorda at Colva Beach on Monday while, search operations are on for the missing Anwas, 24, a native of Belagavi.

According to the Verna Police, Shaikh and Anwas along with their friends had gone for a swim at Utorda Beach on Sunday evening. While swimming, both were carried away by the strong current.
Their friends cried for help and on getting the information the Verna police rushed to the spot and sought the help of the fire brigade and the Coast Guard in rescue operations.
