PONDA: One Jalan Badshah, native of Uttar Pradesh and currently residing at Shantinagar, died in a self accident, at Ponda.
According to the Ponda Police, the incident took place on Friday midnight when Badshah, a tailor by profession, was proceeding towards Ponda from his residence. When he reached opposite the Menino Hotel, a stray dog suddenly came under the wheel of his scooter. He lost control of his bike and hit the roadside electricity pole suffering head injuries and died on the spot.
The dog, which came under the wheel of the scooter, also died on the spot.
