MAPUSA: Aliana Aabikiwa (38), a foreign national died in accident at Arpora, on Monday.
The accident occurred on Monday midnight when the lady in her Maruti Swift car was proceeding from Calangute towards Arpora direction, while reaching near Salt Restaurant, she lost control over the vehicle, dashed onto a coconut tree and fell into the rivulet.

“After the vehicle fell into the rivulet, the lady died on the spot due to suffocation,” sources informed.
Anjuna Police conducted panchanama and the body has been sent to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim for post mortem. Police are investigating the case.
