MAPUSA: Calangute police arrested one Shivam Udaykumar Bhatt (26), native of Gujarat for allegedly assaulting a security staff of Primary Health Centre, Candolim.
According to Police Inspector Nolasco Raposo, the incident occurred on Sunday at around 9.10 am, when the victim working as security guard at Candolim Primary Health Centre did not allow father of the accused person inside the premises as he was not wearing face mask.
The victim was given first aid at PHC Candolim for nose bleeding and thereafter referred for medical treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
In this connection, written complaint was filed by Dr Roshan Nazareth, Health Officer, PHC Candolim. PSI Vikas Deykar is further investigating the case.
