MARGAO: Sanjiv Bojgar, 50, a resident of Dongorim, Nuvem, who was assaulted by a Tahir Hussan Mulla, 27, resident of Andra Pradesh, succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
According to the police, Sanjiv was assaulted by Tahir at the Titan Junction subway, Verna IDC with fist blows over his face due to which the deceased fell down the stairs of subway and succumbed to the injuries.
Police said that alleged accused, in a drunken state with a liquor bottle in his hand, had an argument with the deceased resulting in a fight.
